Carry-on Baggage

Singapore Airlines offers passengers to carry up to two bags into the cabin with you depending on your class of travel. If you are traveling on a Suites, First Class Or Business Class then you can carry up to 2 pieces of 7kg each. The sum of length, width and height of each piece should not exceed 115cm. Whereas if you are traveling on a Premium Economy Class or Economy Class then you can carry up to 1 piece of 7kg each. The sum of length, width and height of each piece should not exceed 115cm. Moreover you can have 1 personal item like a camera bag, laptop bag with you on our flights, free of charge, in addition to your cabin baggage allowance. The maximum dimensions for these bags are 40x30x10cm each.

Checked Baggage

Your checked baggage allowance is based on the weight or piece concept, depending on your final destination. Economy Class passengers are allowed 30 kg, while Premium Economy passengers get 35 kg. Business Class passengers are allotted 40 kg of checked baggage. Passengers traveling on international flights will need to adhere to the weight limits outlined in the policy. Any excess weight is subject to additional charges.

Singapore Airlines Policy for Changes & Cancellations

Singapore Airlines offers flexible policies to accommodate changes and cancellations. Passengers can change their flight for a fee depending on the ticket's fare conditions. The fee varies by fare type and destination. Cancellations are also possible with a full refund offered only if the cancellation occurs within a specific time frame post-booking. If you've purchased a ticket for a flight to or from the USA, you can cancel your ticket without penalty within 24 hours of your booking -- as long as that reservation is made 1 week or more before your flight departs. • LIVE TV: When you are in-flight, now you can stay updated with current affairs and the latest sporting events with the new Live TV channels on board!
• In-flight Wifi: Now you can keep in touch with your loved ones at above 10,000ft or about 15 minutes after take-off and before landing with the in-flight Wifi. Unlimited Complimentary Wi-Fi is available if you are traveling in Suites, First Class, Business Class, PPS and supplementary cardholders, and KrisFlyer members in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class fare type. Auto check-in

After booking your flight you can check-in automatically, All you have to do is turn it on at least 48 hours in advance. With this you can select your seats in advance, change/select your meals, pre-purchase additional baggage and change/upgrade your flights. You can generate your boarding pass at least 1.5 hours before your flight departs. This type of check-in is not available to unaccompanied minors, group bookings and more.

Online Check-in

If you want to check-in from the comfort of anywhere then you can Check in online or on-the-go with the SingaporeAir mobile app. It's quick and convenient, plus you can do it in advance between 48 to 1.5 hours before your flight departs. Moreover if you are planning to do online/mobile check-in then it is available except those who are below the age of 18 and not accompanied by an adult passenger above 18 or have one or more preceding flights in the same itinerary. With this check-in you can generate your boarding pass by:

• On the website: 48 hours to 1.5 hours before flight departure
• On the mobile app: 48 hours to 1 hour before flight departure

Airport Check-in

At the airport you have 2 options to check-in:

• Kiosk check-in: With this technology you will be skipping the long queues and check-in as early as 24 hours before your flight departs. All you need is a confirmed booking with a machine readable passport and visa. Follow the instructions on the screen and your check-in will be done. After that you can proceed to the automated bag drop to check in your baggage.
• Counter check-in: If you are departing from Singapore Changi Airport, you can check in at our counters up to 48 hours in advance. The check-in counters will close 40 minutes before your flight departs---however, it is recommended to arrive 3 hours early, especially if you have baggage to check in.
