1. Types of Upgrades:

• Domestic Australia change fees are Red eDeal, Flex, Premium Economy Saver: AUD 119 (effective from 9 October 2024). For tickets issued before 9 October 2024, the original fee applies.

• Business/First Class gets no change fee for modifications.

Qantas Airlines Flight Cancellation Policy

1. If you book directly with Qantas flights and cancel within 24 hours of booking, you can receive a full refund, provided the first flight departs in 30 days or more. This applies to all fare types, including non-refundable fares. 

2. Refund Eligibility:

• Refundable Tickets: Full refund minus any applicable cancellation fees.
• Non-Refundable Tickets: Typically, only taxes are refunded. However, in certain circumstances such as medical emergencies or death in the family, you may be eligible for a refund. Documentation may be required.

• Total dimensions of each piece must not exceed 140cm (55in). 
• Dimensions for checked baggage are calculated by adding together the width, height and depth of the piece of baggage. 
• For international flights you have to check as per the destination and fare type.

Excess or Oversized Baggage: 

• No single piece of checked baggage can exceed 32 kg (70 lbs).
• For bags weighing over 23 kg (50 lbs), a heavy charge applies at the airport.
• Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total dimensions (length + width + height).

• For travel to/from the USA, the parent or guardian must always be present when delivering the child to the airport.
• Upon arrival, Qantas staff will assist the child through arrival procedures and deliver them to the nominated parent/guardian, who must provide photo identification
